Resources
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Our community is different to most schools, as our families come from schools across rural and remote NSW. Our community also includes trusted colleagues and educational institutions who support our commitment to ongoing learning and development.
Jill Sherlock Memorial Learning Assistance Library
An initiative of the NSW Department of Education and Communities and the Sherlock Family. This state facility provides resources to assist teachers and parents with the education of students with learning difficulties. The Library also works in partnership with the NSW Centre for Effective Reading by providing specialist teaching and learning materials to professionals and families supporting children with reading difficulties. Online catalogue available.
BeYou
NSW CER understand the challenges associated with difficulties in learning to read. NSW CER partners with BeYou and Beyond Blue to continue to learn more about best practice when supporting students with reading difficulties, as challenges with mental health may also arise.
Be You provides educators with knowledge, tools and resources to create positive, inclusive and responsive learning communities where every child, young person, educator and family is empowered to achieve their best possible mental health.
