Developmental Language Disorder
A language disorder that is not linked with another medical condition is called Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) is the new term to replace Specific Language Impairment (SLI). It is a hidden but common disability that affects 1 in 14 people. People with DLD may also have difficulties with reading, writing and motor speech issues. This page will provide some resources and strategies to support those with DLD.
